Job Title: Safety Specialist
Job Description
A Safety Specialist is needed to support ongoing work onsite at a project in Boise, ID. This individual will primarily focus on planning, implementing, and supervising project safety initiatives.
Responsibilities

+ Implement and ensure compliance with safety protocols and Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP).

+ Prepare Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) for all definable features of work.

+ Develop site-specific fall protection, excavation, and confined space entry plans.

+ Train crew members in personal fall systems, scissor lift operations, powered industrial truck operation, personal protective equipment, power tool safety, confined space entry, and other required safety training.

+ Ensure all personnel have the required training certificates for applicable operations.

+ Conduct daily jobsite safety audits as required by contract.
