Job summary
We are looking for a salaried GP to provide 5-6 general surgeries. The sessions are delivered over our two sites, in Kenton and Benwell respectively, depending on the needs of the Rota. The work timetable should ideally include full days on Tuesdays and Fridays with participation in the on-call Rota (1 day per week) and the Care Home Ward Round Rota (one session every 2-3 weeks.)

Main duties of the job
The surgeries will include clinical admin time as well as protected time for supervision of the medical students if necessary. The role will also include up to 2 lunchtime house calls that will have been triaged by the On-call GP. The start and finish times of the surgeries can be flexible to suit individual needs.

The On-call GP covers both sites from 08:30 am-18 pm as the single point of Access and Triage of all house call requests, Urgent queries from the practice team, community and Hospital teams as well as complex medication queries. Th...
