Sales Engineer, KZN

A large gearbox manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Engineer in KZN. The ideal candidate must possess a mechanical/technical qualification and a proven sales track record.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years’ experience in sales in South Africa
• Strategic business development of sales opportunities within South Africa in the following industries: Cement, sugar, oil and gas, power, coal, ports & harbours, steel and metals, general industry, and mining and minerals
• Responsible for achieving budget as well as defined KPI targets.
• Manage and grow existing business through regular customer visits and networking, aligned with our strategic roadmap and growth plans for South Africa.
• Ensure that the Sales/Bid Pipeline is of a value and quality that provides the Group with confidence that the areas of responsibility will achieve its Order Intake targets.
