Job Description
The purpose of this role is to receive and register samples as specified by and in line with client requirements, ensuring smooth operation and flow of samples by following standard procedures currently in place.
Please note this is three month fixed term contract, in a part time role working 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday 14:00 till 18:00.
Receive and register food samples using manual and electronically based systems.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in regards to sample/result queries via email and telephone, maintaining a professional approach at all times.To identify any anomalies and be able to take the necessary steps for a quick resolution.Assigning samples to the appropriate location to uphold required TATs.Ensure samples are stored correctly. Including but not limited to shelf life and challenge studies, non-routine (DEFRA) samples, carryover storage etc.<...
