Position Overview

Job Description

  • Provide First Aid & Emergency Care: Treat minor injuries and illnesses during school hours.
  • Administer Medications: Dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper documentation.
  • Manage Chronic Conditions: Monitor students with asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.
  • Conduct Health Screenings: Vision, hearing, and other mandated checks.
  • Maintain Student Health Records: Keep accurate, up-to-date medical and immunization records.
  • Develop Care Plans: Create individual healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with special medical needs.
  • Educate Students & Staff: Offer guidance on hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Promote Health Campaigns: Participate in school-wide health initiatives and awareness weeks.
