Job Summary

Lead scheduler serves as a team lead over the scheduling staff and general oversight of daily scheduling activities. As a lead this position, they will coordinate, assign, and guides the work activities of other scheduling staff. In addition to lead duties, this position is also responsible for performing patient scheduling.

Essential Functions
+ Alert the Manager to any barriers or conflicts with scheduling cases
+ Acts as a liaison to assist with training, education, communication, and problem solving
+ Assist manager with staff scheduling when needed
+ Maintain continuity while providing coverage for absences
+ Assists with orientation for all new patient scheduling employees and other clinical staff who may need to learn scheduling functions
+ Provide positive guidance, training, and monitoring of staff on processes of scheduling, and other scheduling functions
