Initiate corrective actions to alleviate part quality concerns related to dunnage or handling.
Support lean manufacturing continuous improvement (decanted marketplace, small lot containerization, flexible linefeed, returnable containerization, etc.).
Manage Ford-owned container and material handling maintenance and cleaning projects.
Manage stock piles, external warehousing, and logistics (supporting part re-pack, rust-proofing, container repair, dunnage washing, and long-term part storage).
Develop internal packaging/dunnage specifications and sign off (integral Ford packaging specification).
Work with teams, operators, and Material Handling to improve workstation material delivery and presentation.
Develop layout proposals for unique operations or line rebalances.
