POSITION DETAILS

The Fullerton School District and Personnel Commission is seeking interested individuals for a 50 hour School Bus Driver Trainee Program designed to prepare and train individuals for full licensure and certification as a qualified candidate for School Bus Driver in the State of California. If selected for the program, Bus Driver Trainees would be paid $15.00/hour for the time spent in the 50 hour training. Upon passing, the District will reimburse all fees paid for required licensure and certification (anticipated costs under $200). Failure to complete the program or to pass all necessary state testing will disqualify candidates for reimbursement. If successful in the program, Bus Driver Trainees would qualify and be considered for substitute School Bus Driver positions with the District and would also be qualified to apply for permanent School Bus Driver openings in the District.
