We’re looking to recruit a Caretaker to join our team at Sutherland House School in Braithwell. In this role, you’ll be involved in the repair, servicing, and construction (where applicable) of fixtures, fittings and equipment, together with buildings and site maintenance and decoration.

We are seeking candidates who have good communication a skill and a friendly and focused approach. The successful candidate will have a background in caretaking or site officer/premises with experience in carrying out variety maintenance and repair work to a professional standard.

It is preferred that you have previous experience working within an educational setting.

Previous experience of working as a cleaner/caretaker/site manager and an understanding of different cleaning methods and equipment.

Basic awareness of health and safety standards as applied to cleaning and caretaking.
