Position Summary: The School Support Staff works collaboratively with the classroom staff to provide additional emotional and behavioral support to students who struggle in the school. In providing for the safety and well-being of all students, the School Support Staff focus their work on preventing/managing crisis to maintain an environment conducive to learning. Through the use of the various agency endorsed approaches, techniques and strategies, as well as open communication with the classroom staff, the School Support Staff ensure students are ready to re-enter their school program following a crisis.
