Job Description About the Role: We are looking for a competent and dedicated Science Laboratory Assistant to support the Science Department at Yishun Area Secondary School. You will work closely with the Science Laboratory Technician to ensure smooth daily operations of our school laboratories.
Key Responsibilities: - Exam & Practical Prep: Support daily science practical setups and practical examination preparations.
- Material Management: Dispense chemicals and systematically lay out required apparatus (glassware, chemicals, safety goggles, etc.).
- Lab Maintenance: Collect, clear away, and wash glass apparatus and other teaching materials after each practical session.
- Safety & Disposal: Safely handle and dispose of chemicals according to safety protocols (p. 12).
- Term Preparation: Perform general replenishment of bench reagents during term breaks before school terms begin.
