**Position Objective:** The Scientific Program Manager will provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases within the National Institutes of Health.

This position provides scientific and programmatic support for vaccine development, with emphasis on GMP manufacturing compliance (21 CFR 210–211). It reviews and critiques proposals, advises investigators, monitors project progress, analyzes program effectiveness, and supports strategic planning, policy development, and new initiatives. The role coordinates meetings, reports, and cross-functional activities, while offering technical guidance on vaccine manufacturing and related research. It fills a critical expertise gap and helps ensure continuity, quality, and success across NIAID’s vaccine portfolio.
