Overview
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital and a leading research centre in this field. Within CAMH, the Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute (CFMHRI) and the Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder (CYBD) conduct cutting‑edge research to improve understanding of the brain, causes, biomarkers and treatment of mental illness, especially bipolar disorder in youth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out a sustained and consistent program of research projects as Project Lead / Principal Investigator, independently overseeing and leading all aspects of research projects for their complete duration and lifecycle.
- Secure and manage extramural research funding from national peer‑reviewed agencies and/or industry‑sponsored partnerships and contracts sufficient to maintain a strong program of research projects over time.
