What’s the role

The Duty Trader is responsible for managing daily operations as part of the Shell Energy Australia integrated portfolio of gas, electricity, and financial products.  Working within the Shell Energy Spot Trading team, you will build an in-depth understanding of gas trading and power generation assets and create value through portfolio optimization, maintenance planning, and by integrating new business.  In fulfilling these requirements, you will liaise with counterparties, partners and service providers to ensure timely and accurate decision making.

The team is required to operate within strict regulatory and compliance standards, contractual agreements, pre-defined risk limits, and Shell standards and internal guidelines.  In this role you will work with other team members as part of a ...
