The Technical – Engineers Department onboard Allseas’ vessels

The Technical – Engineers Department is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of all mechanical systems on the vessel. This team of skilled engineers and technicians ensures the reliability and efficiency of engines, power generation systems, propulsion systems, and other critical machinery.

Your role

As Second Engineer ER you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all engine room equipment. You report to the First Engineer ER and supervise the ER crew during your shift.

Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring a safe engine room watch in line with STCW A‑VIII/2.
• Acting as deputy for the First Engineer ER when required by the Chief Engineer.
