Job Vacancy: Secondary Physical Education Teacher at FNSS. Competition #: #34– . Position is a .357 FTE Term Appointment, commencing ASAP up to June 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

Teach Physical Education courses: PE 8 Linear (every second day) and PE 10 semester (every day).

Qualifications

Successful classroom teaching experience. Knowledge of and willingness to use current best practices in education. Familiarity with BC Curriculum. A robust team orientation. Excellent planning and organization skills. A desire to grow professionally. Explicit Criminal Record Check. All applicants must be eligible for certification by the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch.

Compensation

Starting annual salary for a 1.0 FTE ranges from $64,560 to $111,934, based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
