Summary This position resides within the Police Service, VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS) and is physically located at the Portland Healthcare Center. The primary purpose of the position is to assists with administrative functions of the operations section, as well as dispatch duties and responsibilities. Providing high-quality customer service and provides information to employees and the public on a variety of subjects related to the mission of the Police Service. Responsibilities The major duties include but are not limited to: Monitors and receives routine and emergency calls from a variety of sources that need police, fire, medical or other emergency services.
