Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities Manages the operations and security of the DEERS/RAPIDS workstations as a certified Site Security Manager (SSM). Adds, trains, and assigns roles of users and views or updates the RAPIDS configuration utilities. Uses delegated authority and system access to perform complicated system changes, to include overrides, creating new personnel records/segments, and updating personnel attributes. Serves as primary point of contact for and coordinates with other military installations in authenticating and validating requests for CACs/USIDs and DEERS/RAPIDS enrollment updates. Serves as a Site Security Manager for the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). Operates the installation’s electronic security system (ESS).
