Maintain the security of the building and operate firefighting equipment as necessary.
REPORTING LINE:
Reports to Security Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains security watches at building entrance and patrols building to ensure safety of residents, noting and correcting irregularities (i.e., open doors, windows, etc.)
Maintains activity log and completes incident reports as required.
Inspects and maintains security equipment as directed.
Assists in fire drills as directed. Performs daily check of fire safety equipment, logging conditions encountered, and filling out service requests as needed.
Assists residents and staff, as needed, to maintain the orderly functioning of the residence.
Pass a background check and be able to hold a valid NYS security license.&nbs...
