The Security Lead is a highly responsible and visible role within the company. It provides tactical support to the Security Operations Manager to ensure the security of teammates, capital assets and proprietary information for the Company.
This person will work on site 5x a week from our Phoenix AZ location.
**Your Mission**
+ Lead physical security operations at Virgin Galactic’s Mesa, AZ location.
+ Oversee all security operations, including access control, intrusion detection, incident response.
+ Ensure compliance with TSA and airport regulations.
+ Maintain Authorized Signatory status for TSA badges.
+ Liaison with other business units.
+ Develop internal controls to prevent the theft of equipment or proprietary information and ensure that employees are safe in the workplace. When security breaches occur, focus shifts from prevention to investigation and damage control.
