Position Summary

The Security Officer position at an FAA Facility is responsible for providing physical security and safeguarding FAA employees, facilities, U.S. Government property and assets from loss, theft, damage, unauthorized use, criminal acts, espionage, sabotage and terrorism.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Access Control – Provide courteous, timely service while maintaining control of all Personnel and Vehicles entering the facility and deny entry of any unauthorized person(s), property, or vehicles to area(s) defined and described in the Facility Post Orders, Security Plan and/or Task Order.
