Job Title: Teaching Assistant (1-to-1 Support for Child with Autism)

Hours: 8:30 to 15:30 - Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Blackburn as a 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant.

This Teaching Assistant position will be providing one-to-one support for a child with autism. This position will be supporting the child's development, communication and learning needs in and outside of the classroom.

The child is non-verbal and has delayed development and visual impairment. The successful candidate must have experience with the Attention Autism approach and be confident in supporting the child's learning and development on a one-to-one basis.

Required Experience and Skills:

Proven experience working with children with autism, especially those with non-verbal communication and additional needs.
