The School and Role
We are recruiting a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a Good-rated Secondary SEND SEMH school in South Shields. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will be supporting primary aged pupils (Key Stages 1 and 2) with Autism and/or ADHD needs, all of whom have an EHCP. Classes are small, allowing you to build strong, consistent relationships and provide meaningful, targeted support.

This role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils across the full curriculum, supporting engagement in learning, managing behaviour, and promoting emotional regulation.
