We are currently recruiting for a Functional Skills Tutor to join a programme based in Wakefield.

This role requires travel across Yorkshire i.e. York and Selby.

Please note: salary scale is £26,228 – £32,083.00 per annum (depending on experience)

The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs into education, employment, and independence.

You will be working with learners aged 16–24 with SEND and EHCPs, supporting them to develop their Maths, English, and employability skills in a practical, real-world context.

The role combines Functional Skills delivery with job coaching, making it a great fit for someone with strengths in either (or both). Each morning, you will typically deliver short, focused Functional Skills sessions (Entry Level to Level 2) in small groups, helping learners build confidence and achieve recognised qualifications.
