About the role: SEND Job Coach - Supported Internship Programme

Activate Learning is seeking a dedicated, organised, and learner-focused Job Coach (SEND) to join our team at Reading College and help launch our new Supported Internship Programme (SIP) for the 2026/27 academic year.

This role is central to supporting SEND learners aged 16-25, each of whom holds an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), to develop employability skills and access meaningful, well-matched work experience aligned with their individual strengths, needs, and career aspirations.

Working closely with teaching staff, support teams, and employers, you will support learners throughout the entire placement journey - from preparation and placement set-up to on-site support, progress monitoring, and review.
