SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2026 – July 2027

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle are seeking to employ a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time from September 2026. The successful applicant will be offering support within the school’s SEND Hub supporting pupils from Early Years – Key Stage 2 with a range of additional needs. The school are looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable and vibrant to complete this role and provide excellent support for all children to access learning.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND.

- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Preferably have experience of working across school.
