SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, daily supply starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working on a daily supply basis in secondary schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans
• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing social and emotional skills
• Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in the classroom
• Assist with personal care and mobility where required
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and assessments
