About Role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Malaysian statutory requirements. The role supports financial close, reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes, while ensuring strong internal controls and process integrity across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

• Financial Close & Reporting
  • Manage general ledger accounting and reconciliation, month‑end closing entries such as provisions, prepayments, allocations and cross‑charge accounting.
  • Ensure timely closing of books for the month, quarter and year by finalising the trial balance after thorough verification.
  • Prepare, review and validate balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items are properly supported and commented for any unreconciled variances.
