Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a well-known organization in Las Vegas, Nevada on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. The Senior Accountant will contribute to core accounting operations, support accurate financial reporting, and help maintain strong controls. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to the close process, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and can work independently while partnering effectively with the broader finance team. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry with strong US GAAP & inventory experience are highly preferred by our client.


The Senior Accountant's duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

+ Lead critical month-end close activities and prepare related journal entries.

+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.

+ Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and capital asset reporting.
