Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations in Oakland, California. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing key journal entries, and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger.


Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclassifications

+ Own components of the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion

+ Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including investigating and resolving variances

+ Manage fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and rollforward schedules

+ Track and amortize prepaid expenses and ensure proper cutoff

+ Partner cross-functionally to gather data and support accurate financial reporting

+ Assist in preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
