Responsibilities The Senior Accountant will be the overall accountable for REC Americas' GL function and AP function.
AP - Record all the vendor invoices into SAP via Readsoft.
- Prepare and arrange weekly vendors payments ensuring bank signatories approved the payments.
- Prepare new vendor registration form for IT to create new vendor master data in SAP.
- Record all staff claim transactions provided by US team.
GL - Prepare GL journals which include amortization of prepayment, operating cost accruals if required.
- Prepare tariff related journal with supporting data provided by US team.
- Capitalise new fixed assets and perform monthly depreciation run in SAP.
- Perform month-end forex revaluation in SAP.
- Perform and record tax-related transactions and tax schedule/reconciliation.
