Our client, a large global insurance company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead preparation and presentation of management results and client profitability analysis, and to drive the timely, accurate financial close for North American legal entities. This role also supports automation, financial system enhancements, new reporting/analytics implementations, and process improvement initiatives.

This is a hybrid role with three days per week in our downtown Toronto office (walking distance from Union).

Responsibilities:

Reinsurance accounting & analysis

• Lead core financial processes for premiums, commissions and other cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor client data, perform reconciliations and resolve transactional/reporting issues.
