About the Role

We are looking for a senior specialist, ideally with experience in the petroleum or natural resources sector, to play a lead role in the permitting, decommissioning and offshore renewable energy regimes. This senior role sits within Resource Markets at MBIE which leads the management and responsible development of New Zealand's natural resources sector. It directly supports the Manager, Petroleum and Offshore Renewable Energy Operations, and works effectively with others across Resource Markets to ensure legislative requirements, regulatory efficiencies and strategic directions are met.
