Senior Advisor, Portfolio Risk

Join our Portfolio Risk team in a senior advisory role where your financial risk expertise will help support the resilience of Aotearoa New Zealand's financial system. The role is based in Wellington or Auckland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership across financial risk management, strengthening how the Bank identifies, measures and manages balance sheet and traded risk.
• Advise senior Money Group stakeholders and support strong oversight, governance and decision‑making in line with the Bank's policy objectives.
• Lead the development of risk models, stress testing, scenario analysis, capital modelling and exposure measurement.
• Drive improvements to risk systems, methodology, tools and technology to support best‑practice outcomes.
