Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Test Engineer to join our facility in Redmond, Washington. In this role you will play a multiple disciplinary function in the successful coordination of vibration, hot fire, and component level testing of our rockets. You will support testing of monopropellant, bipropellant, and electric thrusters for various in-space applications.
Essential Functions:
Develop, design, and evaluate test methods, procedures and equipment used in testing systems and components. Conduct rocket engine vibration and hot firing tests in a vacuum chamber while ensuring measurements and data acquisition and control systems are properly configured. Use engineering principles to ensure set ups are properly designed prior to starting a test.
