Summary:

The Senior Associate – Tax Engine Implementation will play a key role in supporting the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of indirect tax automation solutions (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara) integrated with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday. The role requires a strong blend of tax domain knowledge, system understanding, and analytical skills to ensure accurate and compliant tax determination across global business processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tax and finance teams to understand indirect tax (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, etc.) requirements
• Assist in documenting business processes, transaction flows, and tax determination rules
• Perform gap analysis between business needs and system capabilities
• Support preparation of functional specifications for integration with ERP systems
