Senior Backend Developer As a senior Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that works on the development of the backend components of all Bitfinex Services (main trading application, Lightning Network support, Blockchain integrations, ….).
The Role Responsibilities:
Develop new products and features using agile methodologies.
Ensure scalability and performance of backend services.
Implement security best practices and protect user data.

Exceptional Node/JavaScript skills
Experience with microservices architecture
Hands‑on experience building a complex platform
Good experience with MySQL and MongoDB
Rapid learning of new technologies
Strong understanding of security practices
Other Valuable Skills
Blockchain integration experience
High-availability concepts
Ruby, Rust or C++ knowledge (plus)
Proficiency with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues
