COLSA Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Buyer that will be responsible for purchasing a variety of highly complex or unusual, technical or high dollar value materials, supplies and/or services.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)


+ Responsible for purchasing a variety of highly complex or unusual, technical or high dollar value materials, supplies and/or services. *

+ Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers, and negotiates pricing, delivery, quality and service *

+ Follows up on awards until completion of order *

+ Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, etc. *

+ Places orders for supplies, etc. with approved suppliers *

+ Coordinates with accounts payable or accounting department as needed to resolve questions on supplier’s invoices

+ Conducts visits to supplier sites to rate for production capability, ...
