Senior Care Assistant

Church Farm Care Home, Church Farm Lane, East Wittering, Chichester PO20 8PT

Day shifts required – Full time.

Pay: £13.25 - £14.84 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit
• Responsible for issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping
• Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers of the teams
• Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
• Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
• Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties

• Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care (we support completion if needed)
