Senior Care Assistant (Nights) – Sandhills Court Care Home, Scunthorpe

Location: Sandhills Court Care Home, Exeter Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 7DE.

Salary: £12.90 – £14.51 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. Permanent contract. 44‑hour night shifts, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage a team of care assistants, responsible for all shift handovers.
• Assist with training and supervision of new staff so they feel welcomed and supported.
• Build relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and district nurses.
• Assist residents with a range of personal care duties.
• Work with the nurse to support clinical duties for the home.

Qualifications

• Completed or working toward an NVQ3 in care.
• Previous experience in a similar senior care assistant role.
