Overview

Senior Clean Energy Procurement Analyst - Americas. The team provides tools to plan for clean energy procurements through unbundled renewable energy credits and/or power purchase agreements, and delivers market analysis, price outlooks, and insights to clients and stakeholders.

The Climate and Energy Transformation team is part of the Energy Transition, Sustainability and Services Division at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Responsibilities

• Identify, compile, and process data to track, monitor, and model market fundamentals (supply, demand, pricing) across relevant US compliance, voluntary REC markets, and I-RECs markets in Mexico and Latin America.
• Provide ongoing and regular market analysis and outlooks/forecasts.
• Update models to derive power purchase agreement prices.
• Be familiar with AI tools and comfortable using them.
