About the Role

Mott MacDonald is expanding its coastal engineering practice across the Middle East. We are looking for a passionate Coastal Engineer with 5+ years’ experience to join a dynamic land development team. The role involves collaborating with mobility, utilities, sustainability, environment, and waste experts to deliver transformative coastal and maritime infrastructure projects in the UAE, KSA, and beyond. You will work on projects ranging from strategic master‑planning to cutting‑edge numerical modelling, shaping resilient, future‑ready coastlines.

Typical Assignments

• Major master‑planning and infrastructure design for breakwaters, harbors, marinas, and shoreline protection
• Beach design, stabilization studies, and land reclamation
• Numerical modelling of waves, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, flushing, and related processes
