Serve as a subject matter expert for critical database technologies, leading resolution of complex incidents and performance issues across Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake, Postgres, and MySQL environments
Proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions to optimize query response times and system throughput
Collaborate with software engineers and tech leads to review query designs and schema changes, ensuring efficiency and scalability prior to deployment
Lead the implementation of patches, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime, including backup/recovery strategies, high‑availability setups, and disaster recovery testing
Mentor and support junior DBAs and application teams, driving adoption of database best practices across the organization
Collect and analyze performance metrics and provide intelligent recommendations for system improvements
