Layke is working with a new client on a contract requirement for a Senior Data Engineer to support the next stage of a major data platform build.

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on building out a modern cloud data environment using Azure, Databricks and Lakehouse architecture . The successful contractor will help shape scalable data pipelines, improve data quality controls, and support analytics/reporting capability across the business.

You’ll suit this role if you are comfortable taking ownership in a growing data function, working directly with stakeholders, and turning business requirements into reliable, production‑grade data solutions.
