Overview

The Child Crime Investigation Team's task is to investigate sexual and violent crimes against children within the jurisdiction of the Western Uusimaa Police Department. The position's location is at the Espoo Police Headquarters, with Lohja or Raseborg police stations as options based on the applicant's choice.

Responsibilities

• Examine sexual and violent crimes committed against children under 18, including physical crimes in the real world, online activities, and the sharing of sexually explicit images of children.
• Act as an investigator in complex and demanding criminal cases and produce high‑quality preliminary investigation reports in accordance with urgency requirements.
• Work in pairs within the unit, fostering development in teamwork and success as part of a competent community.
