General Purpose of this Job

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and engineering of complex mining and heavy industrial projects. In this role, you will provide safe, practical, and constructible solutions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with operations, project services, and other engineering disciplines.

Health and Safety

• Work in compliance with all Cementation Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Identify health and safety hazards or infractions and report them to the Health and Safety Department.
• Ensure all applicable safety codes and regulations are met through appropriate design and use of technology.
• Act as a safety champion by promoting safe behaviours and integrating safety into all designs produced by the group.
