Role summary
Own the end-to-end electrical design and validation of custom PCBs that power Halter's production fixtures and test systems. You'll work at the intersection of hardware design and manufacturing — ensuring the electronics our production and test teams rely on is robust, diagnosable, and built to last.
What you’ll do
- Design custom PCBs from schematic through layout, bring-up, and production handover.
- Define and execute validation strategy for new and revised hardware (coverage, acceptance criteria, evidence packs).
- Partner with Machine Design, Test Software, and Production to ensure hardware meets line requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis for electrical failures in production and test hardware; own durable CAPA.
- Manage PCB fab and assembly relationships; drive DFM feedback and acceptance testing.
