You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and execution of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, Classification Societies and local regulations). You prepare electrical design deliverables including single line diagram, cable schedules, material take off, typical details, layout and termination diagram.
You utilize technical knowledge and software tools to produce electrical 3D model inputs and 2D drawings that are accurate, clear and easily interpreted by others.
You participate in design reviews, constructability and model reviews as required.
You work with Lead, Engineers and Designers both within and outside the discipline to meet project needs and performance levels and safeguard the company’s interests.
