Supervises and participates in the inspection of all rotary equipment and auxiliaries in the Plant, including centrifugal compressors, reciprocating and centrifugal pumps, steam turbines, fans, electric motors, etc. Assesses the condition and performance of equipment and identifies poor operating conditions, maintains equipment records, schedules and check lists and provides advice to the Maintenance Department on required repairs and the recommended replacement of defective equipment. Scope: Monitors approximately 460 machines distributed throughout the Plant and Jetty area by Online and Offline condition monitoring and timely notification of the deviations in critical parameters and problems to the Plant Availability Functions.
