About the job:

The Protection & Control Engineering Division is responsible for engineering BC Hydro’s Protection & Control systems and Networks, ensuring these systems contribute to safe and reliable operation while meeting performance requirements of system planners, regulators, customers and other stakeholders. Our team provides engineering studies, standards, specifications, design solutions, construction documentation, and engineering oversight for work done by service partners, and provides technical support during procurement, construction, testing and commissioning. We also support asset lifecycle with failure analysis and emergency operational support for restoring customer supply. This temporary role supports the Protection & Control Design department and the P&C Infrastructure Design team working on Transmission Stations, Transmission Lines, or Interconnections and PCM projects.
